Based on the trilogy of books written by Mona Kasten, Amazon prime filmed the first season in 2022. On June 13, 2024, the second season began filming , so it is assumed that we'll have the continuation of the story between Ruby and James no earlier than 2025. 😓

Season 1 ep 1 - " Under the radar" 

I start by saying that James Beaufort is such a drama queen at the highest level. 😂

That poor ruby the only thing she wanted was her peace of mind; she didn't even care about Lydia's secret. Was literally a one-sided beef. And i think that's this that drive James crazy, he isn't used  Is not used to not being relevant in someone's life. 

I'm not a sucker fot enemies-to-lovers/ high school bully romances, but for this one... FOR THIS ONE I'M IN! 

Season 1 ep 2 - " Noblesse Oblige" 

If I had to describe this episode with tropes from a book, they would definitely be these: Boy obsessed, he fell first AND harder, and least but not last and instalove.

After his prom stunt, James is forced to team up with Ruby to plan the next school event, and surprisingly, he has some good ideas, too.

I didn't expect the discussion that took place in class, nor the apologies that Ruby offers him on the lacrosse field.
In fact, i thought it was a fake apology. Altough the banter on the lacrosse field, was definitely real. 

In the first episode I thought that the Beaufort twins' dad was a strict but decent human being, but no--the usual stereotypical rich, know-it-all jerk. 

Season 1 ep 3 - "Exposed" 

Best episode so far.

I didn't expected that their bond would develop so fast. 

James finally feel safe to open up his teenage himself to someone. If in the family he always had to be the next heir to the family business, and on the field he had to be the captain of the lacrosse team, with Ruby in the showroom he could simply be himself. 

I liked the fact that Ruby took took courage and went out to go to the party, even though it turned out not to be what she expected,it gave her a way to come out of the shell of invisibility and gave James a way to understand that he has feelings too.
