I will obviously start by talking about the nation that in my opinion has the most beautiful uniforms this year.
MONGOLIA
Mongolia, in my opinion, takes the prize this year as the best-dressed nation. Combining tradition and modernity, the designer managed to capture everyone's attention.
These formal uniforms, were made by a local brand,Michel & Amazonkka, founded in 2015 by two sisters. The design incorporates Olympic and national symbols, including the Novi White Banners, the Olympic flashlight and the Paris 2024 emblem.
Also embroidered on the uniforms, with gold thread, are representations of the sun, moon, and Gua-Maral, the “beautiful doe” of Mongolian mythology
USA
Opening and closing uniforms by Ralph Lauren, which choose to follow two opposite style lines. If in the opening ceremony, there is a more classic style, consisting of single-breasted blazer, jeans and classic suede buck shoe.
For the closing ceremony, the style becomes sporty and less formal. Sporty biker-style jacket paired with white denim and polo shirt is the style firm's choice for the closing ceremony.
Nike, and GK Elite, were in charge of dressing the athletes in individual disciplines such as: track and field and artistic gymnastics. Team of gymnasts wearing Swarovski crystals and pearls on their performance outfits. (Watch here the details)
FRANCE
The technical sponsor is Le Coq Sportif, both for technical, representative and competition uniforms. The brand has engaged the services of designer Stéphane Ashpool, who is himself the owner of the Pigaelle brand.
Berluti, an Italian brand under LVMH, was responsible for the tracksuits and sneakers of France's official uniforms
ITALY
Italy's uniforms are made by Maestro Giorgio Armani.
The collaboration, which began in 2012 will run until 2026.
Inside the collar of polo shirts and T-shirts is the beginning of the national anthem.
Not one of the best looks of these Olympics, in my opinion. Especially considering who Giorgio Armani is and Italian fashion, which we all know is one of the best in the world.
GRAN BRITAIN
Great Britain has taken a cue from the, USA, and given the task of dressing its athletes to more than one brand. Let's start with Adidas, which made the sports equipment for the British national Olympic and Paralympic teams; Ben Sherman, on the other hand, handled the uniforms for the opening and closing ceremonies.
CANADA
Canadian giant Lululemon was responsible for dressing its athletes. The kit is designed to support different bodies with a range of abilities, with features such as magnetic closure zippers, loops, and sensory touch guides.
Left On Friday collaborated with the women's national beach volleyball team.
