THE APPLE TREE - JEWEL E. ANN

Okay hold on!
I may have cried.
Kyle, the man that you are! I CAN'T!!
Definitely makes it into my top 3 favorite Bf books.

The fact that I didn't even want to read this book!! Haha, funny.

Don't get me wrong, J.E.A is one of my favorite romance authors, there is not a book of hers that I have read that I didn't like.

However, being that I don't believe in GOD and I have a strong aversion to families like Eve's, it made me doubt if I should start this book, in fact i didn't read the book about Sarah , but then the plot made me give it a chance and I didn't regret it.

To all those like-minded people, please don't miss this book. Eve embraces God in the healthiest way she can think of, unlike her parents. In her life, he's not exaggerated, 90% of the time he's just a shadow that appears and disappears at the same speed. Eve doesn't hide behind him, on the contrary.

Now that we have made this clear, we can move on.

The book is described as a slowburn, but it is clear from the start that between Eve and Kyle the attraction and feelings begin to blossom from the first time Eve sets foot in the home of Kyle and Josh, his 5-year-old son. The fact that Kyle takes longer than Eve to act on that feeling, and in a way even tries to divert its course, is simply given by the fact that Josh comes first and that he may be the one who loses the most, and Kyle is always very clear in explaining this to Eve. She's fearless, she's eighteen, but she also understands Kyle, that doesn't mean she likes it. Definitely not, and she has no problem letting him know that.

"I told you i wouldn't be anyone regret"

The really emotional part comes about 75% into the book; this is where the book begins to take a turn, as well as the secrets Eve is keeping. Some of them she probably didn't even realize herself. Around 70% of the book the reader starts to figure out what the secret is, and even think “wow, I didn't realize that either.”

"...and i won't give you anything unless i can give you everything."

He ended the kiss as abruptly as it started. "And now you can go home and be mad."
